pom-pom bomb

These pom-poms, and all their little sisters I hung around town, will be revealed as the leaves fall from the trees.

This little tree-collar-cozy is along the route I regularly walk during my work-life.  I forget it's there and then some days I see it and it surprises a smile out of me.

Three-generation bombing

Went out with my mom and the kid last night and dropped a bunch of cozied-up rocks in the valley.  It was the kid's idea to use some of the rock cozies to cover these posts outside the Courtenay library...not perfect, but fun.  My favourite combination.

cozies with the ankle-biters

These beautiful rock cozies were produced in the YarnBombLove sweatshop...thanks mom!
All part of making the world a cozier place, one inanimate object at time.

These next few are my nieces helping me wrap a little coziness around a tree at Puntledge Park.

I was walking along England Ave yesterday and a flying heart caught my eye.  I had hung this in the tree about a month ago, and it's still there.

This trim caught the eye of a hummingbird the other day.  It had stopped to drink from the foxglove which was closeby which happened to be the exact same shade of pink.  When finished with the flower the hummingbird flew over to the bird bath and hovered, moving a few inches this way and that, trying to figure out what this pink thing was.
